LEAGUE POLICIES
-
The top priority of the Miracle League of Dane County is to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. We have a strict no-tolerance policy for profanity, threatening or abusive behavior, and violence. Repeated incidents by the same person may lead to permanent removal from the league.
-
We recognize that underlying medical conditions can affect some players more than others in handling certain situations. If a player's behavior becomes aggressive to the point that it disrupts gameplay or jeopardizes the safety of others, parents will be asked to remove their child from the field until it is safe for them to return. If aggressive behavior continues, the player may be asked to sit out for the rest of the game. While we empathize with each individual’s circumstances, the safety of all participants remains our highest priority.
-
Players who hit, kick, or otherwise assault another participant will be immediately removed from the field and may be prohibited from returning. Repeated incidents could result in the player being removed from the league for the remainder of the season.
-
Players and Volunteers, including parents, must be registered with the Miracle League of Dane County to participate.
-
A parent or guardian must be in attendance for the Player to participate.
-
Each Player has an assigned Buddy for each game. Parents may be requested to fill in and are required to wear a Buddy shirt.
-
Teams are limited to a maximum of 15 players.
-
A specialty ball is provided for the visually impaired upon request
-
Food, chewing gum and flavored drinks such as Gatorade, soda, juice or any other flavored drinks are not permitted in the dugouts.
